Hello my friends, I assume you are here because it is time to get your mind aligned with the truth of God for this day.

That's when we do the morning mindset. We move into the Word of God. We draw out the principles and truths that it teaches and we apply them to our own heart, our own mind, so that we can think God's thoughts for this day.

We don't need to worry about tomorrow. We don't need to worry about yesterday. We just need to focus on today.

And God has given us some great hope and assurance today in Proverbs chapter 14.

Or today we are going to talk about a sure outcome that God has promised for the future.

For those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and therefore are His righteous Saints.

Let's look at Proverbs chapter 14, verse number 19, and then again verse 32.

Verse 19 says, the evil bow down before the good. The wicked at the gates of the righteous.

All right, and then verse 32, the wicked is overthrown through His evil doing, but the righteous finds refuge in His death.

Now you may read these two verses, and like I did the very first time I remember reading them, feel a little quizzical about what they're saying.

It's like, wait a minute, the evil bow down before the good. When does that ever happen?

And the wicked will bow down at the gates of the righteous. What? I don't see that happening around me.

It seems like the wicked are the ones who are always getting the praise and are suppressing the good and the righteous people.

Again, verse 32, you can have the same feeling when it says the wicked is overthrown through His evil doing, but the righteous finds refuge at the time of His death.

Those kind of things may seem a little odd to you, but what the writer of Proverbs is doing is he's describing for us the underlying truth of the way God has designed the world to work.

In spite of us living in a sinful, fallen world, God has determined, and God's determination always is fulfilled.

That the evil will indeed bow down before the good, and the wicked will bow down at the gates of the righteous in the future when God sets all things right, finally, once and for all.

And so we can be assured that the evil that is being done in this world, even if it's evil that's being done to us, will answer to God.
