People who don't like me aren't going to like me and it's not up to me to defend myself.

I said I am going to put everything I've got into preaching the word and changing people's lives and I told them I said

and don't ever come to me with this again. But this is what affliction and persecution is designed to do. It's not from God.

People who teach that God is doing this to you to break you and to make you better.

The scripture right here says affliction and persecution comes to

steal away the word that's been sown in your heart. It's to get you off of the word of

God and get you over here to feeling sorry for yourself and justifying yourself and thinking about it's not

fair what this person is doing.

You just need to have something bigger than yourself to live for.

You are not the most important thing. Boy that does not

compute with most Americans. Boy in America it's get all you can, all you get and sit on your can and that's what the American dream is.

But you know what, there's something bigger than you. You gotta have something bigger than you to live for, something more important than you.

You got to have a purpose, a goal, and you've got to commit yourself to it and not get off the

track and up into the grandstands arguing with the spectators.

Satan will use that to steal the word from you. Who cares what people think? Let me rephrase that. We shouldn't care what people think. But again, all of us have this tendency to be desired, we desire for people to love us. And it is

effective when people start criticizing you. Most people that just affects you, but

it shouldn't. You know one of the ways I deal with it is exactly what Greg was talking about last night about man God Almighty loves me and I stay focused on that and I still don't like it when people dislike me. I'm sure

that there's people at this meeting they're going to go out and criticize me.
