There's actually been times that I've been in a service and I've heard somebody say something

and I'll meditate on the next time I get up. I go to preaching and Jamie says you were quoting somebody else and I don't even remember it because I may have heard

them say it but God spoke it to me it came from God and you've got to do this you've

got to have root in yourself. And did you know that a plant when it's growing, there is

more growth below the surface than there is above the ground.

And most people are more into the results.

They want to believe God so that they can prosper,

as Paul was talking about about so that they can get their body healed.

They're looking at this results and that's what they're after, but they don't want

to go through the growth process.

Notice it says these people receive the word with gladness

but had no root in themselves.

Over the years, I've learned that sometimes the people who seem to be the most excited, man they are the most vocal, they will shout and scream and run with the best of them.

I've learned to be cautious towards people like that because man I want to see some

some fruit some root in you before I get really excited. There's a lot of people

that look good on the outside but but they're a mile wide and an inch deep.

And I'm telling you that is not a godly thing.

I'm saying this in love to you, I appreciate you coming here on a Saturday morning. I'm not mad at you, but I'm telling you some of you are just, you're just good on the outside. You look good and inside there's just nothing that is

established. You're a mile wide an inch deep and this is the reason that you
