more or less. I'm 68 years old tomorrow. October 22nd, 2022, I had a heart attack, and the next day,

I had a triple bypass. I never believed in rehab as having been a supervisor in trucking freight companies, I grew

to believe it was just one of the many excuses that were given to keep from working.

But after having my heart event, I came to fully appreciate my rehab and cherish the time I had with those folks as they literally brought about my return to normalcy after this crushing medical emergency.

In my last job, a pre-retirement job, I walked a great deal, probably 10,000 steps a day,

and I prided myself on that.

But after a year of sedentary living, then having had the heart attack, I was hopefully saved by the surgery, but if I didn't work to keep things up, I knew

it wouldn't last for long. So I was all good during the first year after the heart attack,

but then last winter I was back to making excuses and had all kinds available.

When spring came, all that sitting had led to severe joint pain,

and so I now really had something to worry about.

Then my son, who lives and commutes into Detroit, asked me repeatedly if I listen to any podcasts.

Long story short, I hadn't listened to many, but somehow I found walking his fitness.
