Heads up, this is recorded on my iPhone, so forgive me, it’s not the best quality – it’s a post-yoga reflection that I just had to record for you as soon as it came to mind, so I hope you enjoy it. It’s a short meditation to do as we enter this new year full of awesome potential. A way to check in with your thoughts and reorganize them so that you can better your trajectory, see what you’re holding onto that’s not serving you, what’s playing on a loop in your head, and what has manifested in your life that you might want to tweak. And I guess I would say get into a comfortable seated position

or just somewhere you can be alone with yourself for a few minutes.

A lot of the time things aren't good or bad.

It's just, they just are.

And it's our struggle with them that creates something that's bad or that we think should be different.

And it's really just distracting us or hurting us or slowing us down and preoccupying our attention.

You might not be aware of what your truest priorities are or why you have them at all.

It's like you can't really tell why you are in a certain condition in your life and that's because

we usually have a tendency to focus on

what's wrong and what we're not doing right and what could be better and should be

better and if you are able to see where you are dedicating time and energy, you can also see the success in that.

You are living according to your ideals, whether you know it or not.

So focus on that element, that you are supporting and appreciating your own values.

And don't resent yourself.
