Well, George Santos might get removed from Congress.

I've always known George Santos would get removed from Congress.

It occurred to me that it might happen by the electorate when he came up for election in 2024.

And the question I had was how much embarrassment, what set of values would hold the Republican

majority in the House representatives to keep George Santos in their cynical need for their

razor-thin majority to hold? And knowing that it takes two-thirds to get rid of a member of Congress,

how can you hold on? How can you, what's the argument you can use?

The role of the function of the ethics ruling was that now it makes it harder for a Republican to

say, well, we need to do process. I have to say I'm a fan of Jimmy Raskin and he and I was a fan of

his vote on this. He voted against kicking George Santos out of Congress because he didn't want to

set a precedent that prior to a judicial body or another oversight body making a ruling and

actual finding a fact, it was just kicking people out office by Congress as a dangerous precedent.

And I agree with him. What I was surprised by was there weren't more Republicans getting him out of

there because he's one of the most famous people in the Republican Party and he's not famous for
