Our prayer time today, we're going to dedicate it to a significant person in our lives.

As we begin, I want you to think of somebody.

Even take a minute now and like, ponder, consider, even ask God, God, who do you want me to pray for today?

The truth is, it could be a spouse, a family member, a child, a coworker, a friend, boyfriend, or girlfriend, mom or dad.

But maybe it's a people group.

Maybe it's somebody who you've had a hard time forgiving lately.

It could be anyone.

But take 30 seconds now and prayerfully consider an individual who you know that you want to commit this prayer too. Now that we have this individual in our mind and heart,

I want you to begin by thanking God

for putting this person on your heart.

I want you to thank God for his or her life.

I want you to thank God that you know this person.

I want you to thank God for bringing this person to your mind.

Go ahead. The beginning of the Lord's Prayer, our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Your kingdom come and your

will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I want you to pray now for your friend or family member,

this individual that God's placed on your heart. I want you to pray specifically that God's will be done.

God's plans are better than ours.

God's will being done in our lives produces the most joy and peace.

So with this in mind, pray the will of the Father

over the life of the man or woman

that you're thinking about. The Lord's prayer, it goes on to say, give us this day our daily bread.
