Okay, so, communication, big topic, so much to say about it.

We've covered a lot of different aspects of communication within this podcast.

Today, we're going to focus on when you're assessing whether or not you should say something,

a filter that you can use to make that assessment.

And it's very simple.

It's just asking yourself, is this useful?

Is this useful?

What I appreciate about this filter is that it brings intentionality to what you're

saying.

So often when we're in conversation with someone or we're planning what we're going to say

to someone in response to something that they said, or we have to have a conversation

with someone that's important, we can easily respond out of the scripts in our minds of

what we should say, or a more common one is the emotion that is arising in the moment

that's causing us to react in a certain way.

And while we may often feel like, yeah, no, I'm already responding in a way that is useful

and aligned, and it's like exactly what I would want to be responding.
