here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard, actually recording this in the wee hours of Monday morning.

I think you guys like it when I do that. When I'm able to kind of stay up late the night before

and kind of get the thing done, so you've got the full day to kind of check it out and the shows as of late have been longer and i think that is a direct result of me having you know a little more time to get them done in the evenings and so i'm going to try to do that when i can so we'll get that up and many of you will be able to listen to part of the show on your way to work and then listen to the rest on your way home. But that's kind of what we're doing right now. And if you were like me, you just got done

watching the Super Bowl not too long ago. I was pulling for the Kansas City Chiefs. Not necessarily

because I'm a Kansas City Chiefs fan, but I am a Mississippi State fan. And so I want what's good for the brand.

And so the fact that Chris Jones and Martinez Rankin and those guys could potentially

win another Super Bowl ring helps the Mississippi State brand.

And so I was pulling for those guys that we know.

Of course, Willie Gaye on unavailable super bowl sunday had

emergency surgery on a knee here recently nothing major but i mean every surgery is is major

when it happens to you but willie's expected to make a full recovery and be ready to go by

ota's and so all that's good but yeah but here's a deal even though kansas city didn't win i can be honest

about tom brady now i spent many years i tweeted about this earlier i spent many years hating on

tom brady because he's so incredibly good i'm a pitt Steelers fan. I make no apologies for that.

I don't offer any false pretenses. I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. And so Tom Brady has kind of been

our foil for many years, kept us out of the Super Bowl many times. We've lost them in the

AFC championship game more times than I care to

remember. And it always seemed that Brady always got the calls, but a lot of that's just because

Brady understands the game. And when he can get you in a situation where you're vulnerable,

even if they can't complete the pass, he can kind of force you into a situation where you do some

things that are uncharacteristic
