0:13.0	Today we are on a journey through Scripture.
0:16.0	We hope you'll join us as we make 66 stops through each book of the Word of God.
0:33.0	We're beginning a journey today, a journey that will take us literally around the world, back in time.
0:39.3	It's an amazing journey. It's not a geographical one, it's a scriptural one.
0:44.3	Today we're beginning our journey through the Scriptures.
0:47.3	I'm so excited about our coming study because we're going to walk through every one of the 66 books of our Bible.
0:55.1	39 books in the Old Testament, 27 books in the New Testament, and it's going to be an
0:59.6	amazing journey.
1:00.9	I hope you'll determine right now that you'll be on this journey with us every step of the way.
1:05.7	And I hope you'll encourage others to join you on this journey.
1:09.1	I'm thinking now of John Bunyan's famous classic book Pilgrim's
1:13.0	Progress. You remember Christian's journey to that celestial city. You know, as believers, we're all
1:18.9	on a journey with the Lord Jesus Christ. He's our constant companion. And along this journey,
1:24.6	the Lord has so many things that he wants to teach us. How does he teach us? He teaches us by his spirit and through his word.
1:32.2	God has so much to say to us in the pages of Holy Scripture.
1:36.2	Now, most of you who've listened to our broadcast know by now that my favorite book of the Bible is the book of Philippians.
1:42.7	And perhaps you have a favorite book.
1:44.6	But in reality, all scripture is given by inspiration of God.
1:49.3	That's what 2 Timothy chapter 3, verse 16 says.
1:52.2	It goes on to say, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
1:58.2	in righteousness.
