Hi Janet, who listens to sleep magic regularly, called me the other day and made sort of a frustrated confession.

She said, I just don't get the wiggling of the eyebrows. I mean, I do it, but I just don't get it.

As humans, we are functioning from two different minds at the same time. There's the conscious mind, which is more logical and analytical, and the subconscious mind, which is more imaginative and intuitive. Now, in our waking

life, we lead from the conscious mind. We like to analyze, rationalize, and figure things out. The conscious mind

is sort of like the horse pulling the cart of the subconscious mind. But our job when doing

hypnosis is to access the subconscious mind, to enter our imagination and our feelings,

and to get to the deep programming inside ourselves.

And hypnosis is like putting the cart before the horse.

You're making the subconscious mind primary.
