What's good, my name is Rich Jones and a year ago I updated the name of this podcast

to the mental wealth show and to say I've come a long way in a year would be an understatement.

I think the thing I appreciate most is the clarity that I have today and I wouldn't

have that clarity if I wasn't on a mental health leave this time a year ago.

In fact the big part of the reason that I changed the name of the podcast to the mental

wealth show was because of my experience with mental health leave and the wealth of

information that I ultimately learned about myself and it's that information that's

enabled me to accomplish dreams, set boundaries and live life on my terms.

So if you're new to the podcast I encourage you to go back to October 2021 and catch up

on what's been this most recent chapter of my life.

It wasn't easy but I'm honest about it over the course of the 12 episodes that I basically

recorded over the past year and I'm still tying up some emotional loosens but that's

part of the work, that's part of the journey but that can't be the reason that I don't

move forward and that can't be the reason that you don't move forward because this next

chapter for me it's called Ascension because it's time to rise and part of that rising

is leveraging my platform to provide space for people to tell their stories and it's

not that I haven't been doing that but I've become much more intentional about the type

of story.

I want to hear about more than obvious and today's conversation with Angela Matthews is

the most recent example because you're going to hear her high achiever origin story and

the many lessons she's learned on her journey toward peace because that's what I heard

from her in her reflections, someone who's done the work and continues to do the work,
