We're going to be talking a little bit about what's happened with Jacob's case. We're going to be

talking about kind of where we are as people, as family advocates fighting for justice. So in

the last episode, listener, you heard about what happened with Jacob's case with the Attorney General's office.

And so my mom and I were taken into their office, not taking in, but invited into their office on January 11th of this year.

And we were informed that they felt they didn't have enough evidence to prosecute Jacob's killer.

So, Mom, what was going through your mind after we left that meeting?

I just kind of felt deflated.

It really hurt, like let down again after 37 years and just, I just crushed.

I couldn't even, I can't even put it into words, actually.

I think at first we wanted to believe that they had done a thorough investigation.

That's what they told us they did.

But after I received the records
