Fox. There's a man I know in South Carolina. He grew up in what can only be described as

modest means, maybe, middle class, maybe.

He was certainly not from a family of wealth or privilege

or notoriety.

He got into college with what he claims to be the lowest SAT scores ever recorded in South Carolina.

He says that he got whatever score you get if you only write your name correctly. I sort of doubt he actually had the lowest

SAT score ever recorded, but his scores would have definitely been closer to the lower end than the higher end.

That much I do believe.

His parents died when he was still a young man and that left him being something of a mom

and a dad to his younger sister. He made it and so did she

thanks to the kindness of other families in their community and this man I know in South Carolina

finished college and he went to law school and

wound up joining the military, had a nice little law practice in the upstate of

South Carolina and then decided to try his hand at politics.

He got into politics for a weird reason.

He had supported another person for a local office in his community,

but when that other person, that man won, that man changed and he
