Fox. Ruth Bader Ginsburg died this past week. She had a remarkable legal career.

Rising to the top in any profession is hard and rare, there are only nine Supreme Court justices

and because Supreme Court justices hold their seats if they want to, until they die,

vacancies are few and far between.

So if your goal is to be on the Supreme Court,

it's hard and it's rare.

When Ruth Bader Ginsburg entered the legal profession, it was exceedingly difficult

bordering on impossible for women. That is one reason women, I know, regardless of their

political ideation and even regardless of whether they even agreed with her judicial philosophy were inspired by Justice Ginsburg.

She was an icon who

an icon who transcended generations.

There are cultures that spend weeks

celebrating the lives of those who cross to the other side,

but ours is not one of them.

We can't even make it through a sentence.

The afternoon someone dies without moving on.

That's just the way our culture seems to be.
