Church family, before we read our foundational scriptures, before we plow through these sacred texts on this afternoon, I must give you this disclaimer that this particular sermon is going to be a divine heart check.

It's going to contain some piercing components to it because not only are we going to confront doubt,

that is the crisis of those that doubt God's existence altogether,

but we're also going to deal with the danger, the instability,

and the torment of trying to live a double life.

Because the greatest tragedy from generation to generation is not just those who openly

profess that they don't believe that there is a God, the atheist. But rather it is those of us

who claim to know God, who come into the house of God, but have a lifestyle like there is no God, the Christian atheist.

I'm talking about those that sing songs about him on Sunday, but then act like he doesn't exist every other day.

I'm talking about those who publicly celebrate the promises of God but privately ignore the authority and

convictions of the Holy Spirit. I'm talking about those who don't want the progress and the

detox of God, but you want the provision of God. Those that rebuke a devil but then are pursuing and are entertaining the very things

that is giving the devil access.

Those who say, God, would you bless me and open doors, but you refuse to leave rooms

of compromise?

Those that want a public platform to be seen that don't have a prayer closet to be searched.

Those who say, I hear God calling me into ministry, but for some reason you can't hear him calling you out of sin.

And calling you out of petty and calling you out of cursing people out. And calling you out of being ratchet and calling you out of sin and calling you out of petty and calling you out of cursing people out

and calling you out of being ratchet and calling you out of treating your Bible like a dust collector

but you hear him calling you to preach okay it's going to be tough the issue is not about what we

present publicly but rather what we present publicly,

but rather what we're feeding on privately.
