We're pausing briefly from our Prove It Sermon series to have this victory Sunday over what the Lord has done for us as a local church, which will have ripple effects throughout the body of Christ.

Church family, what I'm about to share with you is a lesson that I did not learn from a commentary.

This is not something I got from chat, GPT. I didn't Google or plagiarize this message.

This is a lesson that no natural classroom taught me. I didn't even learn this

in seminary, but this is a lesson that the Lord had to teach me himself as he was walking me

through this over the last six years of being lead pastor and praying and asking God

for a larger facility for his people.

Through tears I could not explain.

A merry-go-round of disappointment after disappointment.

Frustration beginning to mount in my heart due to all of the delays that I could not understand

why God kept on allowing.

All the while, preaching and serving and counseling and disciplining and teaching others to trust God's timing,

while the whole time, in real time, he's teaching me how to trust his timing.

See, there's something I learned about god and that is sometimes he moves suddenly and then other times he moves incrementally see and if you

confuse the pace of god as the absence of god you can end up rushing and sabotaging what God intended to mature.

See, it's only those who've arrived to another level of spiritual maturity that can thank God

that he did not give you what you are asking for when you are asking for it. I know everybody can't clap there,

everybody can't celebrate there because you're not there yet, but it's those of us who have

arrived to another place of trusting God to where I worship is saying things like this. God,

thank you for your note. Thank you for the closed door. Thank you for not doing it when I was asking for you to do it.

Because hear me, church family, if God were to give you a tomorrow blessing

with your level of today immaturity, you would end up blaming God for something your
