Hi there everyone, it's Boracock in New York. We are at a clear inflection point in what

could very well turn out to be the single most consequential investigation in the 153-year

history of the Justice Department. The investigation into January 6th and the twice-empeded ex-presidents

very clear publicly-known efforts and plot to overturn his defeat in the 2020 election. A series

of court battles over the last few weeks have largely gone in special counsel Jack Smith's

favor. They have resulted in a whole slew of new Trump officials and allies being freed up

and now ordered to testify before the federal grand jury. Some big names in that list. None of them

fear that the one we love with yesterday. Vice President Mike Pence, news broke on Tuesday that

a federal judge had ordered him to answer questions under oath regarding conversations that may involve

illegality on Donald Trump's part. Here's what Mike Pence told NBC News about all that this morning.

I'll be in Washington, DC later this week and I'll be meeting with my counsel at that time and

we'll review the judge's decision and we'll determine the best way forward. But again, I have

nothing to hide. I believe we get our duty out of the Constitution on January 6th.

It's good not to hide, but that responds begs the question. If that is the case and frankly,

it's factly wrote a book about it, certainly suggests it is. So, why hasn't he testified already?

Well, the ball is in Pence's court as to whether he'll appeal this decision. He's previously hinted

that he's willing to go all the way to take it to the Supreme Court. At this point in time, though,

Jackson and his prosecutors are on the verge of hearing from several other former senior Trump

officials in that group, former director of national intelligence, John Ratcliffe. Here's what
