Hi everyone, it's Forecock here in Miami, but we start with the fireworks in Washington,

DC today, emanating from the committee set up by the House GOP, for some took Republicans

15 bows to arrive upon a candidate to be their speaker.

And now in the days and months that have followed, the House GOP has actually done extra

nothing, except subjecting the rest of their colleagues and the rest of us to the grievances,

lies, and conspiracies that animate life over on Earth 2 where they live.

Today, hearing by the so-called Weaponization Committee, presumably focused on censorship,

on social media, and a lawsuit brought by the then Republican Attorney General of Missouri,

who now happens to be a senator from Missouri, it's Eric Schmidt, pushing back against efforts

by social media giants to fight disinformation.

Schmidt was one of two witnesses brought forward by Republicans, the Republican majority

on this committee, who testified and then was dismissed, sent away before Democrats

could ask one single question, so much for a functioning committee in which the free

exchange of ideas and sharing of witnesses prevails.

Democrats were justifiably and understandably outraged, so here's what happened when a

Republican member tried to submit evidence from one of the excused witnesses, watch.
