I wanted to check in with you.

Before I go any further, just, in case you just don't know if conversations about loss or suicide

in particular are not emotionally safe for you, I would go ahead and just skip this.

So I would go ahead and switch it off now.

You're probably aware that we have unexpectedly lost Garrison Brown to what as of this recording

is being described as an act of suicide.

A lot of people are letting me know about this, asking me questions about the podcast,

even about how they should feel.

And I don't know how to answer any of those questions.

I don't know what I'm going to do with the podcast

other than I've pulled this week's episode.

I let Corey and Carly know,

and obviously they completely understood

because they were to guest on this week's episode.

As far as how to feel, I think that roll with whatever you feel right now.

Someone asked me, you know, why do I feel so sad if this is just a parasycial relationship?

I don't know this person.

I think that's a fair question, but I think parasocial relationships are kind of like

loving someone that doesn't love you back.
