I'm Dr. Adam, a professor of interpersonal and family communication somehow.

And I am a longtime follower of the TLC series, Sister Wives.

Not only that, I am a long time fan of, and I didn't tell her I was going to say this,

but whom I refer to on my Patreon as the

queen of reality television, Ms. Kara Berry. And it is my esteemed pleasure to welcome you,

Kara, too, the podcast. I always want to say your full name. I always want to just refer to you

as Kara Barry the whole time. Yeah, I get that a lot. So go for it because I get called that more than

just the first name. I'm so happy to be here and so happy for the nickname. That's crazy. What a compliment.

Well, you come by it honestly, as my grandma used to say. So absolutely. I do a lot of work. I do a lot,

a lot of hours listening and watching people be, you know, hopefully more messy than I am.

You don't mess around. Yeah, that is, you were one of those, and I hope you take this as a compliment it's meant to be. It's like comfort food podcasts where like I can rely on you to have something like anytime I need it. I love it. I love that.

I'm going to take that. Yeah. It is definitely a compliment because I think that's so much of what,

especially like post-COVID, I think is just ramped up how much, I'm getting ahead of myself,

but how much like podcasting and content has become like something people lean on even more than

they did before in my opinion.

Right. Yeah. So I wanted to talk obviously about sister wives because it is one of the

most formative and important train wreck aspects of my existence and yours, I'm sure, but

I can't fathom anybody listening to the sister-wives professor

that doesn't know you and doesn't listen to your podcast, but just in case they don't,
