Happy February, happy Black History Month, happy Valentine's Day.

I have been busy, I've been doing a lot. I've had to keep the energy

levels very high. I went to the Grammys, which was so much fun and I got to see

Tracy Chapman perform Fast Car. There's like literally no other performance I need to see in life after seeing

that. I've also just hosted my very first Galentine's Day dinner party where I gathered

all of the women I love so much at home and just did a dinner to

celebrate them. One of the things I did at the dinner party was put a

compliment card under every single person's plate. So what is a compliment card?

Basically all of my friends are far too humble,

they never brag, they never talk about what they're doing at work,

they never take time to like be loud about their accomplishments.

So in lieu of kind of introducing every single person and having them go around and say their name because a lot of my friends were meeting for the first time, I basically had them read aloud the two things that I wrote down for them to brag about to the table.

So whether it was I just got into the London School of Economics,

or Riana wore a recent design that I created,

or I just raised another million dollars in funding for my app.

Like the women in my

life are doing incredible things but sometimes they are far too humble about their

accomplishments.

So that was a really great way for us to celebrate each other

and anytime we're bringing people together it's just a special
