Hi, my name is Andy and welcome to Radio Headspace. So it's Tuesday morning and I wonder

0:18.2

if you've already done some kind of meditation, some kind of physical exercise today.

0:24.6

You always interest me how people think about looking after the mind, training the mind.

0:30.4

And obviously I know a lot of you probably do some kind of meditation, something like

0:35.0

dad, if you're listening to this show. But I know some of you won't as well. You may

1:33.5

that you go to to find the place of calm and clarity in your mind, in that moment, it's

1:38.6

very difficult to bring that about. We don't really have that luxury in life. Whereas

1:47.4

if we've trained in meditation, it's not that we need to stop and meditate. We are carrying

1:52.4

with us that quality of mind. You know, we could say the same for all of those activities.

1:58.0

There is something that happens when we are still in meditation, where we somehow deepen

2:04.7

our awareness so that it becomes part of our everyday being. It doesn't just happen

2:11.4

when we are engaged in activity. It actually remains part of our life. So when we're
