serendipity that you came into my inbox. We have a mutual acquaintance and friends

tell you a little bit about Jamie and then we'll get going. We're going to be talking about

today trauma, sobriety and the 12 steps. So Dr. Jamie Merritt describes herself as a facilitator of

transformative experiences. She is a clinical trauma specialist. This is quite a interesting list.

An expressive artist, a writer, a yogini. You're going to have to tell me what a yogini is

a short filmmaker, a Reiki Master and a Recovery Advocate. She unites all of these elements.

Her mission to inspire healing in others. She's written seven books on trauma, recovery, and

healings. And she's the founder of the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. There's a lot there.
