Welcome to the GameTrenger Life. I'm Dave Anderson. In this episode, I want to talk about loyalty is performance.

You know, loyalty, tenure, seniority, they're often confused.

And if you're confusing the two, you could be doing less than you are able because you've paid the dues in your mind in the past.

And so perhaps without even realizing it, you've let up and you're not proving yourself

over again every day.

If you have people on your team who confuse loyal with tenure or senior, then perhaps they

have found that tenure has become a little bit of a license for laziness.

And they're not bringing

the eight traits that the game changers bring, the results that they get as consistently as

they once did.

We got to set their record straight on loyalty because the fact is game changers are loyal.

They just don't celebrate tenure or seniority.

They prove themselves over again every day because at the end

of the day, loyalty's performance. It's not the amount of years you put in. It's what you put

into the years. If you look up the definition of loyal, it says nothing about the years you put

into something. That would refer to tenure or seniority. I've got to give you the definition, the exact definition of

loyal here when we get into the program, but I'm just sitting the stage right now. And if you think

about it, when you read the book Unstoppable and when you listen to these podcast episodes and you

hear me talk about the undertaker, caretaker, playmaker, game changer, you'd have to really kind of deduce that the game

changer has a far greater grasp of what it means to be loyal, that they are more consistently bringing

the effort, energy, enthusiasm, the excellence, always looking to get better, right? The passion,
