Today we are talking about health. More specifically, what it looked like for me to lose weight inside

of paramenopause. Now, I know that not everyone likes to talk about weight, but I like to keep it real.

I like to tell you exactly what's going on in my life, the good stuff and the hard stuff.

And when I feel frustrated by a situation, I like to tell you exactly what I am doing

to get around it. That's the foundation for every bit of work I am doing and have done for

decades, is this is a problem I'm facing, This is an area of tension. And I tried a bunch

frustrated by and that is what happens to our body when our hormones start shifting and suddenly

all the things that we were doing are no longer working. I had a very specific workout routine and nutritional style, and it had

served me really well until it didn't. A couple of years ago, I noticed that my body didn't feel

like my body anymore. I was retaining more water and I had inflammation and the things that I was eating were

making me feel bad when they hadn't ever done that before.

And honestly, I was really frustrated about it for a while and I think I lived in denial.

I just thought, well, I'll work out more or I'll do this.

And it was just a waste of a ton of energy. I finally had to get very

real with myself. I had to have a come to Jesus. I had to have a okay if we're going to look for

a certain type of body. This is just me wanting the body that I had before paramedipause took over. If I wanted that,

I was going to have to change everything, not just how I worked out, but also what I was eating.
