Hey everybody, we got a great one today, you know, for a change. Jim Gaffigan. I have been an

enormous fan of Jim Gaffigan's for years and years. First and foremost,

he's just a great stand-up comedian. He's also incredibly prolific. On December 21st, Jim is releasing

his ninth hour special on Netflix. This is called Comedy Monster, and basically

he's been doing one a year. That means an hour of new material in a year. That means

reinventing your act from scratch. And every one of his specials are, in my mind, hilarious.

And now that I've been on tour with the only former U.S. Senator currently on tour,

I have been watching a lot of old videos of his,

and I am just blown away by his body of work.

I know there are some folks who say, oh, well, he's not edgy enough.

And that's taste, I suppose.

But in my mind, the job of a comedian is to make people laugh.

And Jim's audience is everybody.

You can go to a Jim Gaffigan show and laugh, and you can be sitting

next to a Trump supporter who's laughing at the same thing you are. And I think that's,

that's kind of a good thing. But here's the thing. Jim tours a lot, and he's popular all over,

which includes very red places.
