Summary

In today's episode, Gina discusses the importance of facing and feeling the emotional difficulties we encounter to grow and heal in our lives. This episode draws heavily on an article from Dr. David Hanscom concerning the importance of processing emotional pain to fully integrate and overcome such pain (and keep it from reemerging in other pathological forms later in our lives). Listen in for remarkable insight into why it is so important to feel the difficult emotions we so desperately try to avoid.

What is anxiety?

Quote:

My message for everyone is the same: that if we can learn to identify, express, and harness our feelings, even the most challenging ones, we can use those emotions to help us create positive, satisfying lives.
