So you're at Arpepea and you make a red wine from the Valtelina

and I wonder if you could sort of sketch the history of the family and the

winemaking in the family because I know there used to be a different winery name and what's

going on how did that all play out?

Yeah the family is in wine business is very long we are now the fifth generation

to get with my brothers, Emmanuel and Guido.

And the family began in 1860s.

And actually, the company was founded by our great-great- Giovanni but then the name of it was done by the great-grandfather Arturo Pelizati.

Oh, okay. Yeah. So there was an Arturo Pelizati winery.

Exactly.

And then together with a son, Guido, and the grandson, Arturo, my father.

So there was two Arturos then. Exactly. So they were proceeding and

until the 70s, the 73, unfortunately our great, our grandfather actually got ill of a cancer, and since our father was the only child working with him,

they had to decide that the only solution in order to divide was actually to sell.
