So I got to tell you, you're one of the people I've known

longest in the business because when I was in Boston I went to Cambridge actually

which is on the other side of the river. Ordered up a half bottle of Chateau Gloria

upstairs at the pudding and you were the sombier.

And you know, we've not been hanging out every day since then, but I see it from time to time and

we both ended up moving in New York, but I thought it'd be fun to have you

on a show kind of you're one of the people I've known as I say you're one of the longest

relationships I've had in this one in the wine business and it's kind of funny

how things work out we're both still hanging around.

Hey, so you started in Boston at Les Eagle Matt,

you were working as a waiter.

Yeah, that was my first sort of Boston gig. I did a little bit of wine buying in Seattle before.

But I had essentially three jobs that happened all at the same time, and Lezigamat was the first of three during that first year in Boston that I was there.

And what was that like as Lorenzo who was there doing the list who was kind of a well-known guy?

Yeah, Lorenzo Savono.

You know, I didn't really know a lot about Lorenzo.

I didn't know about Boston.
