The International Criminal Court is seeking arrest warrants for Hamas's leader and Israel's

Prime Minister on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The world was shocked on the 7th of October when people were ripped from their bedrooms,

from their homes, from the different kibbutzim in Israel and people have suffered enormously.

That was the ICC's chief prosecutor speaking to CNN's Christiane Armandpur about the charges against Hamas officials,

saying they include extermination, murder, taking of hostages, rape,

and sexual assault in detention.

And he listed what Israeli leaders are accused of.

For crimes of causing extermination, causing starvation as a method of war, including the denial of

humanitarian relief supplies, deliberately targeting civilians in conflict.

Last month, reports surface that the ICC was considering seeking warrants, and Israel's

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that they would be a quote outrage of epic proportions.

Israel is not a member of the ICC but the court claims to have jurisdiction

over Gaza, East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Iran's president and foreign minister have died in a helicopter crash. The government says the aircraft went down yesterday in a mountainous area of the country

and all nine people on board were killed.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer gave an update on it this morning.
