Summary

Happiness is a hard thing to define historically. But Rob defines it as experiencing joy in the present moment on a consistent basis. Then you have a happy life. And it sounds simple, but a lot goes into achieving this much sought after state of being. Living a life with intention, ensuring you define your time to allow room to do things that bring you feelings of joy, creating a balanced and harmonious existence. The default way we tend to get in a rhythm tends to cram all of our joyful moments in between work ending and going to sleep when we feel a relief from responsibility. And if that’s the only joy we get, then we’re in trouble. If you’re only hunting these pockets of joy, it makes happiness seem elusive, like something that you need to constantly chase. But integrating these moments of joy into your overall existence, to be experienced more consistently throughout each day, is the key to elevating your sense of overall happiness in your life.

that you are trying to master and get control of and live with intention and grow into the ideal version of yourself on an ongoing basis forever and ever into someone you didn't even know could even exist but is a

derivative view because you evolved in there in the first place.

1:17.9

That's the trippy part about evolution is it is subtle and since you know the exact path

1:24.5

that that you grew to get there, it just seems so likely after the fact.

1:31.8

You know, it just seems like, well, of course I evolved into this direction because that's

1:37.5

what was happening to me in my life that allowed me to be open to different experiences that

1:43.3

evolved me into a different person,

1:46.1

but I'm still the same person. That is evolution, you know, and it is the key, as you've

1:52.2

heard me speak about many, many times of driving your existence into a harmonious state. And as I've been, diving deeper into continually thinking about how to take, you know, what I've experienced, what I've learned and what actually has happened in my life, you know, over these last, you know, five, six, seven years and turn it

into stories and ideas and a philosophy that's shareable. I always keep going back to, you know,

2:27.4

everybody's why. The human why is to live a harmonious high quality life. And to me,

it makes a lot of sense because at the end
