Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Warmest Stories podcast. I'm your host John DeLin.

It is November 15th, 2017 and this is our 11th interview in a series on Mormon leaders and inappropriate interviews with Bishop's State Presidents, Mission Presidents, etc.

I know that that seems like a lot but we're wanting to do a series because we want to get a lot of different perspectives.

We interviewed Sam Young, Bishop Sam Young yesterday. Sam is leading this most recent effort to try and get the church to change.

He's got a petition you can sign to protect LDSChildren.org. We're really hoping to get 10,000 signatures.

Sam and his mother, Bertie, are going to be on Temple Square December 1st and 2nd to show their passion for this issue and we're going to try and get some people together to support them as well.

Today we're going to be interviewing Sarah. Sarah is not her real name and she's not going to be using video.

But Sarah wants to tell us her story about an inappropriate interview or sets of interviews with church leaders.

Yeah, so why don't you give us a little bit about your background in church prior to these interviews just so we know where you're coming from a little bit.

All right, so the interviews that I'm talking about occurred when I was about 16 years old and although I'm not using my first name, I don't mind saying that I'm 38 now.

So more than 20 years ago.

So my background in the church is that I was born and raised in the covenant. I was actually born and raised in Canada.

So this is a Canadian perspective.
