Welcome to the show, Ian.

0:32.2

How you been doing?

0:33.2

Yo, I'm doing good, man.

0:35.1

I had a great weekend.

0:36.0

In fact, I oversaw the lemonade stand in my front yard, my kid, and all his friends in the neighborhood decided that they wanted to sell lemonade this weekend. So we helped them do that. They did mostly none of the work. It's still kind of hot here in Austin, Texas. They did very well. They made a decent amount of money,

and they learned a lot about business, I think, all of them. That's sick. Did you charge rent?

1:01.3

That's my main thing. Did you take a cut? I did not charge rent, but I could have to teach them

1:07.5

the lesson of, you know, my property, you pay me. But I, you know, I taught him some other lessons. Like at one point, he came out there and my kid especially, the whole front of his shirt was covered in some wet substance. I said, what's going on? So, I said, oh, we got thirsty. Well, what did you drink when you're out there and he's getting high on his own supply? Exactly. I said, listen, dude. That's Biggie's first rule of business.

1:29.0

Number one rule of business.

1:28.9

Number one rule of business. Do not get high on your own supply. So there was that lesson in many,

many more. Why do you think about kids? Is there hilarious? If you like stand-up comedy, you'll probably like kids. They're absolutely hilarious. It's true. And potentially profitable. And I'll tell you what, the lemonade game, very high margin. Because what are you putting into this? A little bit of sugar and salt and some water, some flavor. Yeah. I mean, there's like the cans of concentrator or whatever. You know, I'll end this story with at night getting ready for bed. And he likes the idea, I think, of managing more than working. So I know whose kitty is, obviously. But you started to talk to me about like what it might look like to have multiple lemonade stands. Well, there you go. Well, you could do this?

2:35.5

And then I was like, do you want to own them? Because there's this other thing called franchising. And so he was very interested with that idea of potentially franchising. I think at the end, you know, this is a tactic to stall to not go to bed. But I think at the end, after we discussed all the options, he's ready to own all the lemonade stands and kind of take all the responsibility.

2:34.4

Strong move. I would expect nothing less. after we discussed all the options, he's ready to own all the lemonade stands and kind of take all the responsibility.

2:35.7

Strong move.

2:36.7

I would expect nothing less.

2:41.0

So here at the top, Ian, a few episodes ago, we discussed a sort of roadmap for getting

rich on X.

Basic idea is that, you know,
