And today I wanted to talk to you guys about some tips I think y'all should know and some of these are tips I've already

covered on the podcast before but I've just been thinking a lot about my teen years and thinking about

junior high and high school and who I was then and who I am now and the things I used to worry

about and get anxious about now and the things I used to worry about and get anxious about

and all the things that I wish I could go back in time and tell myself.

The things that if I could go back in time and tell myself in junior high and in high school

that my teen years would have been a lot easier and less anxious for sure.

So I obviously can't go back in time and give myself these tips, but I'm here and I want to

give them to you guys. I want to give them to you right now where you're at in your life to be able to use and

navigate your teen years with greater confidence and more peace.

So the first one that I think is so important to know about is that you don't need to be happy all the time

that it's okay to not feel happy. I know I put so much pressure on myself to be happy so much that I wanted to be happy all of the time and I would get

you know whenever I got sad or frustrated I would start feeling anxious about the fact that I was

sad or frustrated or anxious I'd be anxious about my anxiousness.

And I would, because I would have some kind of negative emotion and I would start thinking thoughts like, what's wrong with me?

Something's wrong with me.

I shouldn't be feeling like this.

I'm supposed to be happy.
