Summary

With everything that’s going on in the world right now, creating a membership site for your audience means that you can grow a stable and successful business that generates recurring revenue.

But regardless whether it’s a membership site, a course or an e-commerce website, the majority of people never even get their idea off the ground.

So many of us are guilty of this: we get into our own heads and we get hung up about having tons of content and everything looking “perfect” before we even try to share our idea with the world.

It’s the difference between those who stay stuck and those who go on to create successful businesses: success comes from finding the courage to launch way before you have it all figured out!

This happens because we compare our chapter one to someone else’s chapter 20, so in this episode I wanted to give you a look at my own chapter one.

I want to take you back in time and show you how much I really didn’t have things figured out when I first launched the Members’ Club and how far it was from perfection!

I hope this episode shows you that if you have an idea or a desire to create success, then you have to find the courage to just go for it, before you even feel ready to take the leap!

0:42.4	I know that sounds random, but I get so many questions about how I've built my membership site,
0:47.4	how I've built my business, in particular around the membership site, because with my members club,
0:52.2	a lot of people know about it. It's probably one of the largest
0:54.7	memberships for female entrepreneurs globally. We have 5,000 amazing members and it's been
1:02.4	amazing to grow up. We work with incredible experts. We have these incredible masterclasses on there.
1:07.9	And I think people look at what I've created and then start thinking about wanting
1:12.5	to create a membership site for themselves and then try and start where I'm at now. And so people
1:18.0	ask me, how do you create your masterclasses? What platform is your website on? And all these questions.
1:23.5	But the thing is that when I started the membership back in 2013, it was literally me,
1:31.4	myself and I, and my developer, Andre, to be fair. But I literally, so I had this idea to create
1:38.3	membership. I think I'd really had it from the beginning of starting FIA, because when I look back
1:42.3	at all my little notes and plans and
1:45.0	goals, it was always there lurking around. But in 2013, I set myself the goal for the year that
