Listen, Ian, you obviously have demonstrated a tremendous range as a columnist and also as an author writing about a variety of subjects.

So specifically what drew you to write a biography about Aaron Rogers?

For instance, general intrigue or did you have maybe some sort of an aha moment?

Actually, Vince LaBardi coached in my high school.

That was part of it.

I always wanted to write a Packers book.

He lived eight houses away from where I grew up. So fascination with the Packers' mystique. And Aaron is a

mysterious, compelling, intriguing figure. And from afar, I always thought that about him. And I was

actually doing a LeBron bio. And another book on LeBron came out. I was looking to pivot and Aaron then got traded into

my backyard and I thought a marriage of an all-time great quarterback with a desperate long-suffering

New York franchise was a story that was too good to pass up basically.
