He won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs in 2020. He is a three-time pro bowler. He is a four-time

All-Pro. He is a member of the NFL 2010's all-decade team. And he's coming off season where he had 75 tackles and he had four INTs.

All right, so, do let me ask you, why don't you, if you don't mind, let us inside the helmet for a minute. What's your mindset and your headspace

like is you get ready to enter your 12th season in the NFL? I mean, first and foremost, man,

it's a blessing. You know, I think I'm very fortunate to, you know, have made it this far. You know, I think, you know, personal accolades aside, man,

like, it's all about winning. You know, I think I still have a desire to win. That's why I still,

you know, love playing this game. I love competing, you know, and I love winning. And so,

you know, that's really the mindset right now is this, like, how do I help my team win? You know what? It's really interesting because I was

going to say when I talk I talk to a lot of guys about this and I've seen guys go through their

entire careers and I ask him to how what goes first is it your ability to play at a really high

level or is it your desire to prepare right because it's such a grind it's so much work I know

you want to compete I know you want to win I I know you want to win. I know you love the game. Do you still love the process and the work the way you always have?

I do, man. I enjoy the offseason. You know, I enjoy OTAs. I enjoy practicing. I enjoy training camp.

You know, even though I think at times, you know, as you get older, you know, you can kind of start counting the days, like wondering when it's over.

But I still love being around the guys, man.
