Israel agrees to take a pause. I'm John Sossier Fox News. The White House says

Israel is agreeing to a series of humanitarian pauses in its fight against Hamas in

Gaza. We have Fox is Edward Lawrence over at the White House with more.

The NDC spokesman John Kirby confirmed for us that the Israelis do in fact agree to a

four-hour pause in their ground operations per day and there will be a three hour notice before that

pause the president also says today that he pushed for a three day pause we

got that four hour though three day pause to get humanitarian aid in and hostages out.

Israeli officials estimate more than 200 people are still being held hostage by Hamas.

U.S. officials believe fewer than 10 Americans are among those hostages now.

But this war rages on between Israel and Hamas

where Hamas that is already passed a one month mark. Some updates out of the

Gaza Strip tonight Palestinian Islamic jihad released two hostage videos showing an elderly

Israeli woman and a young boy both kidnapped taken into Gaza on

October 7th where they've been held ever since and And tonight Richard Hecht, the lieutenant colonel,

a spokesman for the Israeli military,

described it best.

He said, this is psychological terrorism.

Hamas and Islamic jihad are trying to basically bend the arm of Israel into getting a ceasefire,

but we understand that it will be incredibly difficult because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says they are going to push forward with

operations inside Gaza until they destroy Hamas leadership and get rid of all of the weapons inside

the strip.
