Democrats looking to gain control of the Virginia House of Delegates on this

off-year election day. Republican Governor Glenn Young can making his final get-out-to-vote

efforts.

We caught up with them just a couple of miles from here at another polling location.

He told us that Virginia voters are going to the polls right now to determine the issues

that are setting up a national conversation to go right into the presidential

election in less than a year. He's highlighting inflation, environmental

regulations, stiff penalties for fentanyl dealers and education.

And he says he's pretty confident Republicans will take control of the full legislature here.

These are tight.

We feel good, but these races are going to be decided by hundreds of votes. are

It's divided government here in Virginia for now if the GOP flips the Senate,

hangs on to the House, they're also planning to limit abortions

after 15 weeks in the state.

Governor Tate Reeves being challenged by Brandon Presley.

That name's not familiar, it's the second cousin of Elvis, Kentucky Governor Andy Bashir,

looking for another term as well.

In Ohio, voters will decide if abortion should be protected in a state constitution.
