Israel's ground invasion of Gaza appears set to take the next step.

A airstrikes intensified.

The ground offensive has intensified with Gaza City itself being surrounded.

Meantime, we are nearly a month since a massacre of October 7th.

And now Israel faces combat from three sides.

More than 30 rocket launches were detected from Lebanon aimed at

northern Israel. The Israelis responded with artillery fire to the source of those rocket

launches and for Hamas gunman were killed in the west Bank in the town of Tulkarum.

Fox is Mike Tobin in southern Israel.

U.S. officials are calling on Israel to allow for temporary pauses in the war with Hamas

to allow aid to enter Gaza.

We want them to be able to go after those guys and get them for what happened on October 7th.

But we also share with them a desire to get these hostages home with their families where they belong.

And a tactical pause is one way, one vehicle to be able to see if you can't facilitate that.
