Monitoring for the Hanta virus. I'm Carmen Roberts Fox News. Global health authorities are watching for any sign of the Hanta virus that appeared on a Dutch cruise ship and left three dead. The ship is set to dock in Spain's Canary Islands tomorrow, but some passengers left the ship before the virus was detected. Fox's CB Cotton has more from New York. And today,

the director of the World Health Organization on social media, he shared a letter that he wrote

to the people of Spain's Canary Islands. In it, he said the outbreak is not another COVID-19,

and the current public health risk is low. Before the virus was detected, the ship's operator said more than two dozen people from across the globe, including the U.S., had already left the ship.

when they struck a person who had gotten out onto the runway. Smoke was reported in the cabin

and passengers were evacuated via slides as a precautionary measure. The Airbus A321 was

carrying 224 passengers and seven crew members. Airport officials say they checked the fence line after the incident, finding it intact.
