strongly condemning what he calls blatant aggression by India after India fired missiles across the border.

India claims it's targeting militant sites while Pakistan says civilians, including women and children,

have been killed as President Trump is urging a quick end of the escalating conflict.

President Trump says India's missile strikes in the Pakistani-controlled territory is a shame.

Just hope it ends very quickly. India says it struck terror targets following attacks on

tourist and Indian-controlled Kashmir,

a region long disputed between the two countries.

UN Secretary General Antonio Gutierrez says he's very concerned about India's military operations in Pakistan and in Kashmir,

his spokesman calling for maximum military restraint from both countries.

President Trump says three hostages held by Hamas in Gaza have died.

They said, 59. I said, oh, wow, that's more than I thought.

They said, well, only 24 a living, but now it's 21. That was a week ago. Now it's 21 a living.

The president did not elaborate on the identities of the hostages believed to have died.

One American Adon Alexander had been among the 24 hostages believed to be alive with the bodies of several other Americans held by Hamas after the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

The president's comments come as Israel plans a new assault on Gaza.

Earlier today, the president met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney talking trade and other issues.

Regardless of anything, we're going to be friends with Canada.

But the president is not backing down in his talk of making Canada the 51st state.

Carney said Canada is not for sale.

The president has imposed tariffs on many Canadian imports.
