Personal development is seen as a way and it's marketed as a way to drive

change in your life, right? Something you can control if you just work on being better at something, right?

You learn a new skill, you meditate so you can learn to control your mind, you improve your

mindset, you work out and eat right, and all of those things.

And it feels helpful.

Because it is, honestly, like it is helpful for you as an individual.
