Maybe it'll feel like it used to, you know, the way when things felt light and free and good. Maybe it's a return to that. It's a departure from how it's been.

Maybe that's heavy and complicated and frustrating and you're tired. That's my claim. Life is about to feel

good again. And now, of course, I don't know you

particularly, and I can't say this to be true in the very specific context of what's going on in

your life, but I can't say broadly speaking that life will feel good again. Life is about to

feel good again. Emphasis on feel good. And I'll start by referencing something that was really

interesting from which I've developed this claim. There was a study in 2012 called subjective

well-being and adaptation to life events. And it basically looked at how people's happiness

shifts after major life events, breakups, losing a job, marriage, success, kids, failure,

everything that throws us for a loop, everything that makes it feel like the ground is literally

moving beneath our feet. Maybe some of the things that you're going through right now.
