So you have a winery that you started in Sicily and your uncle was a famous

Vintner Guestowakapenti and what happened so at 16 he asked you to come help him at Vinidley?

Yes, when I was 16, I was in high school and my uncle asked me to go with him to win Italy to the big fair in Verona.

And for me it was okay because I was jumping four days of school so I was happy.

For me the white world in that moment was not my life so everything was new and in these days I

discover a new world for me, made of nice people, people that drank the wine and they were very,

very nice in comfort with everybody.

So when I come back, I start to think that maybe wine could be something of good for me.

And in the moment that I was deciding

to go to university, I decide to start when making a viticulture.

So I moved to Milano and there, fortunately I discovered the real wine world, so the world of the production.

I focus my study in discovered the I focused not only what the teachers were teaching me, but the different world of the

teachers were teaching me but the different world of a producer.

So I try to travel a little bit visiting producer

one during the weekend.

And thanks to some people that I meet in that moment, I discovered that wine is not only a product made that you can study and make as a recipe but it's something more more deep.

And this love was starting to grow in myself so when I when I finish graduation and some

months before I decide to rent one actor of Vineyards and of Afra Pat and Afna Rhodavala, my two native red grape, and I start to prune in January 2004 and

January in September 2004 I made the first harvest.

And how old were you at that time?
