As always, thank you so much for listening. Thank you for supporting me. And today I want to talk about what happens in love and life and in relationships and friendships of any kind when you find someone and they have everything you want in a partner, but they don't have what it takes to be a partner. They have what you want in a partner, but they don't have what it takes to be a partner.

And maybe you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I think it's one of the more frustrating realities of dating when someone looks like and walks like and talks like and smells like everything you've been asking for. But when it comes down

to the part that actually matters, they crumble. They say the right things. They match your

energy at first. They make you laugh. They flirt. They text promptly. They do all the things.

And for a moment or many moments there, you actually let yourself believe that this might be different than the times in the past.

But then unfortunately, reality hits and it becomes clear that they don't have what it takes to make the relationship work.

To, you know, make the relationship function.

You have a disagreement.

You have a moment of insecurity.

A plan falls through, something small

happens that really shouldn't matter much. And that's when you see the difference here, the difference

between someone who wants to be in love and someone who knows how to sustain love. And it can

drive you crazy. It really can because part of you thinks that you could make it work.

Part of you knows that you could get there and you see glimpses of it with them. They have a good

heart and shared values and moments where you're like so very much on the same page. You see

the version of them that exists and you're like,

oh, why can't this be forever? But the problem is you see the version of them that exists when
