Summary
Gathering for a meal—a central part of family life throughout time—is increasingly disappearing, but it's more important than we think. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson invites us back to the kitchen table. He discusses how to prioritize seeking the Lord, and he shares from the Book of Acts about the role of hospitality in the Church. Pastor Allen also teaches about discerning God's will for our lives, which is possible when we focus on His Word and cultivate a desire to know Him. Our God is a God of justice and discipline, but He is also a God of promises and provision. Let's return to the kitchen table, and through that habit, let's invite God into the midst of our lives.
