And I would invite you to a place where to have a more gentle conversation with God and say,

God, I would rather make room for you to be the God of creation than to do it in the image that I want you to be in.

And that may be more about relationships that have failed,

or dreams that to this point haven't been a part of your journey,

or detours, it seems detours, that your life has taken.

See, I believe in the midst of those broken places

are where we find the power of God.

I want to continue the theme we began in the previous couple of sessions, talking about

miracles, healings, and you, and it's the and you part that's the most important.

I have no interest in theoretical Christianity or abstract theology.

I believe our faith has to have an impact, an outcome, a point of transformation.

And far too often, in my experience, we're open for studies of the historical perspective

on scripture or we'll have a debate on whether God still does miracles or not.

If you're facing a challenge in your life, you don't need the debate. You need to understand

how to extend an invitation. And so the and you part becomes critical because when we talk

about the miraculous or healing, it gets personal very quickly because all of us have had people we cared about that haven't had
