And I'll start by saying that this is kind of a topic that I get a lot of questions around because having anxious thoughts is normal. It's very normal and it's okay. You know, certainly anxiety is a big word and this episode isn't about like a clinical diagnosis or anything like that for anxiety,

but I want to start by saying it's okay to have anxious thoughts around dating. I mean,

practically speaking, who wouldn't? There's a lot to decipher.

There's a lot of what ifs.

There's a lot of moving pieces.

And, you know, if we were to really dive into the topic, and spoiler, I'm about to,

it's not that you are an anxious person or you have anxiety and that's why so-and-so.

It's more likely that there are some things that are

really important to you, as they should be. And because in dating, there's a big question mark

next to them early on, you feel a certain anxious way about them. Right? It's a bit of a reframing.
